Congratulations Treasure! Reading The 20 Something has been like having an internet big sis, cheering you on and reminding you that as daunting as your twenties seem, there’s a world of beauty and experiences to uncover.

Every letter feels like a warm embrace and a constant reassurance that there’s always more—to dream, enjoy and achieve.

One piece that has stuck with me for a long time is Whenever You Wake Up is Your Morning. It’s such a profound piece about growth and learning to embrace your own pace.

You’re doing an amazing job with this and I’m looking forward to reading more of your newsletters! 🤍

First off, congratulationsss on 5k subscribers!🤭🥳

So I stumbled upon your newsletter sometime back, I think in late 2022. Prior to that time, I wasn't the biggest fan of newsletters, because (on my end) it felt like everybody was writing the same thing. Lmao. But then here came yours and I remember being so shocked that day because it was just so good. I read that one and proceeded to read about five more and was still wowed. So I went to check out all your socials, and I followed you there. (Yup. It was that good. Lmao😂) And now, if I say I should highlight all I've learnt from the 20 something newsletter and how it has made my life better, we prolly won't leave this place. So let me highlight some of my favorite lessons from this newsletter:

- Setting systems in place and not just goals. It was through this newsletter, that year, that I stopped setting resolutions and writing a list of things I wanted to achieve, but instead started creating systems to make them happen and this has made my life a whole lot better.

- Consistency is also something I have learnt from this newsletter, not just the lessons you've shared on consistency, but also how being consistent with what you've been doing here and everywhere else has contributed to where you are now.

- Finally (not so finally but let me stop here😂💀) I have learnt from here that "life is a process of creation, not discovery." This one stuck hard and of course has made my life better because i used to be heavily obsessed with finding out something about myself, my journey, at every point in my life, always wanted to know if I was doing the right things. And reading that newsletter that addressed this made me feel like, okay it's fine to discover it on the way. It's not a mandate I have to fulfil at a particular deadline or something. Lol

So thank you. I hope you continue to get these ideas and continue to share them. And congratulations again. 🎉🎉

Congratulations Treasure! The last two points resonates with me so well.

Reading 20 Something has to be one of my favorite things to do for real. This is one of the newsletters I always stop anything to read. Maybe it's the way your writing seems like you're actually present with me, holding my hands and talking to me. You make everything so relatable and every read comes just at the right time with a valuable lesson. Reading 20 Something from you has given me the big sister I never had to teach me about life, career, relationships.

Keep up with the good work , Tres❤️

I have learned to not be an onlooker in my life. The only way to be good at something is to show up consistently. I love the newsletter about black tax and how to navigate it.

Congratulations on 5000 subscribers once again!❤️

20 something!!!

This is one of the few newsletters that come into my box and just totally make sense. Over the months, I've to understand what it really is to be in your twenties and it's been far easy navigating life through the uplifting points in your letters❤

Yayyyyy!!!!🎉🎉 5k subscribers!

Congratulations Tres.

The 20’s is a phase of my life I’ve always dreaded until you announced the start of the newsletter (yupp! I’m an OG subscriber 😉). I was so excited to be reading from an equally 20 something who is also just winging life and sharing her experiences as it goes.

The first thing that drew me to this newsletter was the name because I’m a hugeeeee fan of SZA😹..The20snewsletter has taught me a whole lottttt and has impacted me in so many ways. It has taught me to be kinder to myself and give myself more grace.

It has taught me that it’s okay to be a beginner and that every great thing or person was once a beginner.

It has taught me consistency and how to set systems to achieve goals and actually get work done.

In all this newsletter has been a great guide of some sort to navigating my 20’s.

Thank you for sharing this part of yourself with us💕 (p.s we need a fan base name🌚)

I found your newsletter recently from your twitter account and I've read almost all the articles on here already...there's a certain courage it gives me to see someone write so freely in a way that scares me to because I fear I wouldn't be enough. I started my newsletter because I got inspired by this one and this issue cemented all the conviction I had.

I really am grateful for the simplicity and authenticity in your writing

Congratulations on 5000

To very very many moree

This is the newsletter that inspired to start my newsletter. I planned to write twice a month to my subscribers and by the very end of last year , I had 24 newsletters out for 2023. This currently my best newsletter.

Hey Tres,

Congratulations on 5000 💐💐

I joined 20something in August 2022 or so and boy have I learned so much.

I think one of my favourites was the one about Kintsugi blues. I have a vivid picture of that bowl lined with gold in my head each time I make a "big" mistake. That particular letter makes me feel better each time I make a mistake. I remember you said embracing my flaws helps me create even better art.

I also loved the spark joy letter. It redefined what happiness and joy meant to me.

Another one was - when i wake up is my morning. I could mention a lot of others but I'll stick with these.

Being a part of Twentysomething with Tres makes me feel seen and I learn stuff every time. Not to mention the various new songs, articles and I got from your media section.

It's really the newsletter for the defining decade. Thanks Tres 💗 😊

Awwww. Congratulations, Treasure. 5k is a massive feat!

Giveaway or not😂, reading The 20 Something reminds me to slow down and read(it's probably the tone? I dunno). I tend to rush, so I'm usually grateful for things that remind me to slow down. And I like that most of the things discussed are relatable; I always look forward to reading your mails. Well done and thank you for sharing.

Wow! Congratulations, Treasure!!! You deserve this huge feat. 🥹👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Honestly, I’m not a huge fan of newsletters but when I started reading yours, I was so intrigued by it’s relatability, and compassionate tone.

Some of your newsletters made me melancholic in thought, others made me laugh (mostly because I couldn’t relate 😂), and still, the best feeling I’ve had from reading each and every one…is hope. Apart from the gift of hope, I think you make each 20 something know they aren’t alone in this thing called life, and for that, I’m super grateful.

Thank you, Treasure Okure. Thank you. ❤️
