Awesome write up. This book did have an impact into how I saw every experience and opportunity eve if they didn't look like what I wanted at that moment or season of my life, I learned to look twice at these opportunities to know if they might be worth getting involved in to develop and gain plot points in my story.

Thank you so much. As 20-somethings trying to build identity capital, we underestimate how many yes's you have to say. A lot of people ask us to Say NO to everything because we need to manage our time as well. But we also need to say YES as much as possible too. The things we say Yes to build our identity and make us who we are. There is a balance. I am glad you talked about this

Thank you so much for this. I really like the term "identity capital". It sounds just like a mini bank of a person's experience that you can reach into.

This was quite an insightful read! Funny enough, the person who recommended Meg Jay's Defining Decade to me too is a "David". haha

You had me at doing things for the plot, it still sounds like a joke. But that perspective sure makes everything we do very intentional.

Thanks for sharing

It's a really awesome book, one of my favourites. A wake-up call and hands to hold you steady wrapped into one.

This is the third I’m reading this newsletter. Slowly and calmly this time. I planned to write something related for a while after reading this write-up once again I have better clarity on the topic.
