can I just say - I absolutely adore your writing and am so glad you're back! I don't quite remember how I found your corner of the internet (I'm from Canada!) but the way you write is so full of colour and flows so well, it's exactly how I wish I wrote myself. You have a beautiful way of explaining the mundane and sharing concepts in a manner that feels new.

Firstly, congrats on your graduation.

You do an amazing job in weaving words that just resonate so deeply and I really admire that.

As someone who used to question myself on everything, I found peace by simply going for it, and not bothering about whether I am good enough or whatnot.

And that decision has really helped me move forward in myFirstly, congrats on your graduation.

PS: I'm currently reading "Before the Coffee Gets Cold"

Have you heard of it? life in more ways than one.

Hey, Precious. I am so happy for you. Decision inertia can be very mind-numbing. I haven't read that book yet. Is it good? Let me know!

You're a great writer and even if you do not write in a thousand years, what you have written would be a source of inspiration the more you're away.

I read this in the market, with noise and distraction from commodity chasers and annoyingly loud machines, I was so deep into reading and connect well with the story.

Muchas gracias 😊

I love your writing! Yes, most times we battle with the fact that everything has already been written but as you said, not with your voice and humor. This is an important reminder to us that we should not be too scared to share our stories, you never know who might need to hear it.

We are so back!

Thanks for writing this, Treasure. I've now decided that 2025 is going to be my year of personal stories — no matter how shitty or self-aggrandizing. I'll tell my story.

Welcome back, Treasure! This was a great read (as always!). Funny enough I got the inspiration to write my final-year dissertation on FGM in Gambian society and although I am Gambian, it was a section of one of your old posts that drew me to the topic in the first place. I am having such a transformative time researching and writing my dissertation and in a way it is all because of you. Your impact is far-reaching. So thank you for having such a butterfly effect on my academics and (possibly?) career! You're amazing!

I'm so glad that I hit the subscribe button. This is the such a beautiful post! And you're right, people have written what I want to write about before. But did they write about it with my style, wit, range and perspective? No, I don't think so. That said, I should stop focusing on my life's stumbling blocks and go back to doing what makes me shine the most. I'm enjoying A Virtuous Business as well and I cannot wait to read The Vegetarian seeing as Han Kang won this year's Nobel prize for literature.

Value! Value! Value! I'm glad I came across this post, and this is timely. I must say I have a share of your experience. At the very beginning, when I joined LinkedIn, I was sceptical about telling my story, but when I took a bold move to start regardless of the doubts I had, the feedback was awesome. And today my story has made me connected with exceptional individuals, people who I may not be opportuned to meet on a normal day. About your MUN journey, I must say I have it in mind to participate in an MUN like Lagos MUN, but I haven't really made much conviction about it. Perhaps you can enlighten me more on that, and thanks for sharing.

Thank you for this reminder, Treasure. I was thinking whether or not I should participate in a trend, and I was deciding not to because a lot of people have done it. I was forgetting the fact that, they're not me. That no one would tell it like I do. That some of my audience would even be waiting to see this trend in my point of view. Well, I have my answer now, so thank you again.😊💜
